The New Care Act
A new law gives people with disabilities new rights.
we will be telling you about some of these on this page.

he Care Act says that some people who have substantial difficulty and are having an assessment, care plan or review may need an advocate to support them to be involved in planning for their care and support.

The Manchester Advocacy Hub is a new service provided by Gaddum Centre and Better Things. Advocacy helps people to speak up about what is important to them, and supports people to get the things they need and are entitled to.

If you would like to find out more about advocacy call
